Events

An enormous amount of special events take place each year in the area. These include Knutsford Royal May Day, summer open-air theatre at Gawsworth, Cheshire County Show (2 days), RHS Show Tatton Park (5 days), Macclesfield Sheepdog Trials, Macclesfield Family Fun Day, and the Poynton Show. The Halle Orchestra is just one of a number of nationally renowned orchestras to perform regularly at both outdoor and indoor venues.
