Events
An enormous amount of special events take place each year in the area. These include Knutsford Royal May Day, summer open-air theatre at Gawsworth, Cheshire County Show (2 days), RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park (5 days), Macclesfield Sheepdog Trials, Macclesfield Family Fun Day, and the Poynton Show. The Royal Shakespeare Company visits frequently and the Halle Orchestra regularly performs at both outdoor and indoor venues.
