Quarry Bank Mill

At Quarry Bank Mill, Styal the Apprentice House Garden has been restored to grow the same varieties of vegetables, fruits and herbs that it grew in Victorian times when it was home to the children who worked in the huge cotton mill. The National Trust has recently acquired Quarry Bank House, the Gregs’ family home, and special tours of its beautiful garden skirting the River Bollin will show visitors the restoration work in progress.
