Two weeks of fabulous walks exploring the scenery, heritage and wildlife of Cheshire's Peak District. Some challenging, others a stroll in the park!

Congratulations to Tatton Park, Kerridge End Holiday Cottages, Harrop Fold Farm and Arley Hall, who have all scooped awards in Cheshire’s 2009 Tourism Awards.

The Anson Engine Museum has been Highly Commended for its Diesel Exhibition at this year's prestigious National Heritage awards. One of East Cheshire's real hidden little gems, the museum was up against many of the heritage industry's biggest and best funded attractions.

Tatton Park's historic gardens have been voted the ‘Number 1’ garden in Central England by readers of Gardeners’ World Magazine.
